CREDITON Milling Company (CMC) is holding a Race Night at Trethorne Leisure Farm, near Launceston, on Wednesday, August 17.
The evening will begin at 7pm for a carvery at 7.30pm and that will be followed by the Race Night.
Profits will go to RABI, The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
A spokesperson for Crediton Milling Company said: "The last few months have been, to say the least, extremely stressful within our industry so what can be better than to come along and enjoy yourselves at a social evening with a carvery followed by horse racing, and relieve some of that stress.
“We couldn’t have picked a better charity to benefit from all the profits.
"RABI is a grant-making charity which helps farming people of all ages if they are in financial difficulty.
"Support is confidential and includes one-off or regular payments, funding for things like essential household items, disability equipment, relief farm staff, home-help and care costs.
"We will start off the evening with a top quality carvery at 7.30pm followed by the racing, where you will have the opportunity to have a flutter if you wish knowing that a percentage will be going to a very good charity.
"Tickets are on sale at £15 each, so if this is something that is of interest, why not book your tickets by contacting the CMC office on 01363 772212 or email: [email protected] (payment will need to be taken at the time of booking).
