CREDITON Friends of FORCE were delighted to receive correspondence from Mel Stride, MP for Central Devon after he had read about their fundraising efforts in the “Courier”.

Diane Pring, Chair of Crediton Friends of FORCE received a letter by email from Mel congratulating her and her team for raising £600 at a recent charity bingo event.

Volunteer, Ann Thomson also received a letter from Mr Stride congratulating her on raising £500 for the charity with a recent plant sale.

Diane told the Courier: “It was really nice that two ladies in Crediton received letters from Mel Stride at the House of Commons to congratulate us on the work we do for the community.

“FORCE is a local cancer charity which not only helps the patient but the whole family.”
