THE Provincial Grand Lodge of Devonshire will be making a charitable donation to Horses and Forces CIC on June 2, at Uffculme Masonic Hall.
The charity has been nominated by Crediton Freemason, Worshipful Brother Phil Hutchens, for the valuable and structured work it does within the Armed Services community.
Horses and Forces supports military personnel and their families, living with the impact of Post Traumatic Stress disorder, who have been unable to benefit from public sector service provision for a variety of reasons.
The non-profit organisation, provides free trauma treatment and support in a non-clinical setting at Coombe Holdridge Farm, Buckfastleigh.
Crediton Freemasons are pleased to have further applications for the WAKE Fund from Dartmoor Rescue and Crediton Rugby Club.
The WAKE Fund is money from a trust, set up by a Provincial Grand Master, William A Kneel, before he died, to benefit volunteer organisations in Devon on a bi-annual basis.
Any local voluntary organisations seeking assistance should write to: The Charity Steward, Unity Lodge, Union Road, Crediton, EX17 3AW.
