THE latest short film by Crediton film-maker Dom Lee was the winner in a recent competition.

“Croak” premiered at Exeter Phoenix on February 17 and won the “Audience Choice” award.

The film was commissioned by Exeter Phoenix in April 2022 as part of a scheme operated by Exeter Phoenix, which gave £1,500 towards its production.

It premiered at the Exeter Phoenix Film Festival.

Dom explained: “Filming took place in Dawlish and Paignton last year. Incidentally, we found out the Queen had died when setting up for our first night of filming.

“The film will now be submitted to other film festivals around the world.”
