MOST of those attending the Weekly Coffee and Co session at Crediton Congregational Church for lonely adults, held on Thursday, December 15 stayed on for the Warm Spaces session for a Christmas Party.

They enjoyed a warm bowl of soup, a buffet and apple crumble and custard.

Coffee and Company sessions are held every Thursday morning from 10am to 11.30am for older people who are lonely and want some company.

The sessions are regularly attended by about 20 to 30 people who enjoy puzzles and games, or just a chat and refreshments. These sessions will run as usual on Thursdays through the festive season.

The Warm Spaces session, which is open to all, runs until 2pm with a hot lunch provided.

Many of those attending the Coffee and Co stay on for the Warm Spaces session.

Both sessions are run by volunteers and more volunteers are always welcome (just turn up on the day to help).
