MORE than 100 children took part in the alternative to Hallowe’en in Crediton this year, the Light Quest Treasure Hunt, organised by the Churches Together in Crediton and held on October 31.

Two treasure hunt trails were operated around the town, one in the St Lawrence Green, Churchill Drive, Buller Road area and the other in the Barnfield, Park Road, Winswood, Spruce Park area.

The treasure hunt included various questions and tests and at each location an answer had to be found.

Winners each received a prize of some description.
