RESIDENTS in Crediton awoke to a blanket of snow this morning (Wednesday, January 18).

Temperatures dropped to below zero overnight allowing snow to settle on the icy ground.

There were further heavy snow showers this morning which had cleared by lunchtime.

The Met Office still has a weather warning for ice in place from 5pm today until 10am tomorrow (Thursday, January 19), which may lead to some disruption this evening and overnight.
