MID Devon District Council has added new features to its online portal to make it easier for residents to report issues.

On My Mid Devon, people can now report missed waste and recycling collections, lost or found dogs, aggressive or nuisance dogs, abandoned vehicles and alleged planning breaches.

The portal’s existing features include checking waste collection dates, paying for council tax and finding out what services the council offers.

“We know our residents lead busy lives, so we’re making it easier for them to access services at their convenience,” said Councillor Josh Wright (Lib Dem, Silverton).

“The improved self-service portal means fewer phone calls, quicker responses, and a more connected community."

Residents can access the self-service portal by visiting my.middevon.gov.uk.
