A CELEBRATION was held in St Andrews Church, Sampford Courtenay on Sunday, May 7, to mark the Kings coronation.
The Church was decorated with flowers and prayers were said for King Charles III.
A community picnic lunch was held at the village hall where tables were decorated with a Coronation theme.
A prize was given for the best celebration hat, coronation commemorative mugs were distributed and races were held for the children.

The sun broke through and a great time was had by all.
