YEAR six pupils from Copplestone Primary School laid a wreath at the village war memorial on behalf of the school and pre-school to mark Remembrance.

One of the children read a poem and the children had a period of silence to remember those who lost their lives.

The children in Reception Class were also busy making a giant poppy and the whole school took part in a two-minute silence.
