HOLY Cross Church, Crediton is inviting everyone to attend a day of prayer event, Come and Pray, on Saturday, September 7, from 10am until 4pm. 

The event will feature different forms of prayer, prayer stations for all ages and acts of worship led by the Rev Canon Deborah Parsons, Rev Preb Matthew Tregenza, and Rev Lewis Eden. 

Organiser Rev Eden, said: “At Come and Pray, we shall pray for the life and work of the Holy Cross, Crediton, the town of Crediton, and the world.

“Additionally, exploring different ways of praying for ourselves and the world, we live in. 

“Please consider dropping in throughout the day and praying for yourself, the church, the town, and the world. 

He added that it is an exciting opportunity to explore faith and prayer whether through taking part in the acts of worship at the start and the end of the day, through the different prayer stations, the prayer workshops or simply by attending.
