THE fantastic garden at Frogbury, Coldridge, will be open in aid of the Red Cross, by kind permission of Mr Jeremy Lee, on Sunday, June 16.
Featuring colourful herbaceous borders, this beautiful garden has a collection of elms and orchards as well as several newly planted wildflower beds and four ponds.
Geese, ducks, frogs, barn owls, bees, hares, dormice, moorhens and hedgehogs all inhabit this beautiful garden and will (hopefully) be in attendance.
The garden will be open from 1pm to 5.30pm and admission will be £5 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
Cash is required on the day for entry, and there will be a raffle and refreshments including bacon butties, cakes and cream teas.
There will be an opportunity for a woodland walk and conducted tours will also be available, times will be listed. There is limited wheelchair access (main garden area only). Dogs are welcome on leads. The advice is to wear suitable outdoor shoes and the event will go ahead, rain or shine.
The postal address is Frogbury, Coldridge, Crediton, EX17 6BW. It is off the B3220 road between Morchard Road and Winkleigh.
There will be Red Cross Open Gardens signs to direct you towards the field where there will be plenty of parking. It is then a short walk into the garden.

Mr Lee said that he was fundraising for two Red Cross Appeals, "Ukraine" and "Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories".
He explained that the Red Cross remains politically neutral.
“Donations can be made via the GiveStar giving website: https://giving.give-star.com/online/british-red-cross/jeremy-lee-raising-for-israel-occupied-palestinian-territories-and-ukraine .
"Please note that Givestar invite the giver to make a voluntary contribution to them.
“At my last Open Garden £20,000 was the total raised for Afghanistan and this time I am setting a similar target.
“We already have nearly £4,000 so we’re well on the way to achieving this.
“This will be my final Open Garden before I decline into senility so I do hope you will support it.”
