AN appeal has been issued for people to clean up outside their homes and businesses in Crediton.

The South West in Bloom judges will be visiting Crediton on Tuesday, July 16 and judging the Town as part of the Pennant Competition.

A Crediton Town Council spokesperson explained: “We last entered the competition in 2022 and were awarded the Silver Gilt, one away from Gold!

“We will be taking the judges on a walk around the town, visiting prominent locations such as the Church, Newcombes Meadow, the Town Square and up to St Lawrence Green.

“If we all work together to maintain our individual space, this would make a huge difference and the judging on July 16 would be a rewarding objective to aim for.
