CHERITON Fitzpaine Welcome Club members were helped by four children from the Primary School at their January lunch.

They were a great help, laying tables, meeting and greeting members, serving meals and washing up.

Members were sorry to hear of the recent death of former member, Mrs Doreen Lethaby, whose Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Monday, February 8 at 2.30pm in the Methodist Church.

The next lunch will be held on Wednesday, February 10 at 12.30pm. Members are reminded that the A.G.M will be held in the Methodist Church at 10am on Wednesday, February 17.

This will be an opportunity for any member to ask questions or make observations, so do go along and share a cup of coffee and a chat with your friends.
