A PUMPKIN carving session was held at Crediton Library with pumpkin carving and ideas of how to use the seeds and flesh.

The session was led by Colum Pawson and Clare Blake of The Craft Cook CIC who deliver cookery and nutrition courses in Devon.

During the session children carved their pumpkins and were shown how to roast the seeds and how to make pumpkin soup and biscuits. 

They also had the opportunity to taste them.

Children were able to take home their carved pumpkin and a pumpkin recipe book.
