CHANGES in technology and the way we work mean that the Crediton Courier, part of Tindle Newspapers Ltd, will close its High Street office from tomorrow, Friday, September 6.

A drop in footfall to the office and an increase in other methods of communication by advertisers, those submitting articles etc, whether by email, telephone call or via social media, have contributed to the decision.

Saying this, the Courier will remain firmly at the heart of the town and being at the forefront of bringing news to readers, whether via our printed issues or our website and social media channels.

It really is business as usual, and we still want to hear from you.

To help those who still wish to meet the Editor Alan Quick, Reporter Will Goddard or Sales Executive Sue Halsey, a member of the team will be at Crediton Library from 2pm to 3pm every Thursday.

You can call into the Library at the time for help with placing an advertisement in our printed issues or online or to talk about submitting an article or for other information.

The Library will also, kindly, accept small items of post for the Courier, whether it be letters, articles, posters, magazines etc.

Of course, for a quicker response, please do not hesitate to make contact by emailing: Alan Quick [email protected] , Will Goddard: [email protected] , Sue Halsey: [email protected] , Sharon Avery: [email protected], for public notices: [email protected] or for family announcements: [email protected] .  For subscriptions: [email protected] .
