A STEADY flow of vehicles came out of Crediton Fire Station much cleaner than they went in on Saturday, May 5, when the fire crews held the first of their twice-a-year car washes for the Fire Fighters Charity.
The fire crews were helped by their children and the grandchildren of some who had a wonderful time with lots of water and soap suds on an amazingly sunny morning.
The first car wash in the year was booked for early March but the weather was so atrocious it was put back until now. The next will be in the early autumn.
