CREDITON law firm Veitch Penny LLP is continuing to grow its presence in Crediton with the appointment of two new legal personnel to its residential property team.
Solicitor Alison Parker has recently joined the firm, specialising in residential property legal matters. Prior to joining Veitch Penny Alison spent nine years working for a national law firm in their Exeter office.
Having moved to Crediton five years ago Alison was keen to find a position locally where she could be more actively involved in supporting her local community.
Alison has a broad range of legal experience across many aspects of property, both residential and commercial. She will be supporting Veitch Penny’s residential property team, which deals with all legal matters relating to buying, selling and renting homes.
Alison commented: “My husband was born and raised in Crediton so he was keen to return to his home town.
“I already know many people in the area but am looking forward to meeting many more and helping them deal with their property issues.”
Also joining the residential property team is Xanthe Worth. Xanthe is a paralegal specialising in residential property. She joins Veitch Penny from a firm of solicitors in Exeter where she supported a partner in residential property transactions.
Managing Partner, Ian Penny said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alison and Xanthe to the Crediton team.
“We’ve had a long-standing presence in Crediton and wish this to continue long into the future.
“Bringing new staff on board means we can help more members of our local community as well as enable our commitment to Crediton.”
Veitch Penny offers a broad legal service from its Crediton office including property; dispute resolution; wills, trust and probate; and legal services for owner managed businesses.
