GET in the festive spirit by visiting Brampford Speke’s Christmas Tree Festival this weekend.

The festival takes place in St Peter’s Church on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27, from 2pm to 5pm and all proceeds go to church funds.

The highly colourful, decorated Christmas trees take centre stage and visitors are invited to vote for their favourites.

People can also remember departed loved ones by placing messages on a special memory tree.

Seasonal refreshments including mince pies will be available together with a prize draw and tombola.

Father Christmas has promised to visit on both days and there will be a special post box for those who want to send him their Christmas wish lists.
