AN early fundraiser for the project to enhance the area around the front of Bow Village Hall and its Recreation Field was the Big Breakfast and car boot sale held there on Saturday, June 11.

More than 60 breakfasts were served plus bacon butties and eggs on toast.  It all used at least eight loaves of bread, 16 big tins of beans and 150 sausages.

Most of the time every table in the village hall was full of happy breakfasters.

Outside at least 25 tables or car boots were selling a huge range of items.

Fundraising so far has included £9,200 from the National Lottery Awards for All fund.  The next monthly market in aid of the hall is tomorrow, Saturday, June 25 at the hall and a quiz is to be held there for the same fund on Friday, July 1.
