SIR Tim Smit, of The Eden Project, will present a talk about his vision for Junction 27 at a meeting from 7.30pm to 9pm at Uffculme High School Hall, Uffculme, on February 22.

Mr Smit has teamed up with Westwood Developments to present a plan to redevelop 90 hectares of land at Junction 27 to develop a "Gateway to Devon".

In September last year Mid Devon District Councillors voted to include an allocation of land at Junction 27 of the M5 for high quality tourism, leisure, retail and associated additional housing in the Local Plan.
