THE next meeting of informal singing group “Going for a Sing” is coming up in Crediton.

All are welcome at the session, which will take place at the Boniface Centre from 10.30am to 12pm on Friday, October 11.

“Come and sing songs for fun and fellowship,” a spokesperson said.

“We’re not a choir, just a group of people that enjoy singing.

“We will be singing songs beginning with the letter 'L' as we work our way through the alphabet.

“There are lots of well-documented benefits from singing so do come and join us!”

Song words and refreshments will be provided. There is no charge to take part, but donations are welcome to cover the group’s costs.
