CHURCHES Together in Crediton will be holding a World Day of Prayer Service at the St Boniface Roman Catholic Church on Park Road on Friday, March 4.
This year the Service for the World Day of Prayer has been written by the women of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
They have used the Bible text “I know the plans I have for you” from Jeremiah to reflect on some of the issues facing us today, finding hope in difficult situations and encouragement in the help we can give to each other.
On Friday, March 4, this wave of prayer will begin in Samoa, move on through New Zealand and Australia, across Asia, Africa and Europe, the United States and South America before finishing in American Samoa.
The Crediton World Day of Prayer Service is hosted each year by one of the town’s Churches.
The service at Crediton’s St Boniface RC Church will begin at 2pm.
All are welcome.
