FRIDAY, May 5 sees a special event at Crediton Arts Centre, the latest in the popular long-running series, "I Like this Stuff", in which speakers talk about their lives beyond the Arts Centre.

In "The Frank Letch You Don’t Know", Frank Letch MBE will share stories and experiences from his life before and during his time in Devon with his usual wit, charm and bonhomie.

Crediton knows Frank Letch MBE well as its longest serving mayor, a Town, District and County Councillor, who regularly makes himself available to constituents in the Town Square on market days and in his surgeries in the villages.

But did you know he speaks fluent Welsh, has made four TV documentaries and gives legendary assemblies in local schools?

Frank has been a very good friend to the Arts Centre for many years - he once opened its Food Festival in the Town Square by cooking a Chinese meal with his feet, sitting alongside the hob on Ashgrove Kitchens' demonstration kitchen.

There will be time at the end to ask Frank the questions you've always wanted to ask.
