DEVON County Council has given notice that there will be a temporary prohibition of through traffic on the road from Fordton Cross to Station Cross, Station Road, Fordton, Crediton from Monday, October 16 to Tuesday October 17 (both dates inclusive) between the hours of 10pm and 6am.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via the A377 Exeter Road, the road from WellParks to Hookway Cross, the road from Village Cross to Hookway Cross, the road from Forditon Cross to Village Cross, the road from Forditon Cross to Station Cross and vice versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable an annual review of the level crossing to be carried out.
