ON Saturday, October 26, the sun was shining and the pitches looked in superb condition at Lords Meadow, and what a morning of football followed.

The Under 16’s hosted Brixington Blues and ran out 6-1 winners. Rhys Ebdy again led the way with a hat-trick, Ollie Harris with two, and Joe Butland completed the scoring.

Back to winning ways were the Under 14’s who edged out West Hill 5-3 after going two behind.

It was a great team performance, but Luis Matthews capped a fine morning by grabbing all five goals in a thrilling game.

The early kick off saw the Under 12’s entertain Starcross Dons and end up 4-0 winners.

Following on from them were the Under 11’s who had a fine morning as they had a great victory over Lympstone Lions.

Joey Carpenter led the goal scoring for them with Dexter Hughes, Noah Pugsley and Oscar Smith also on target.

There were some very entertaining games as the Under 9’s hosted Okehampton.

One win, two draws and one narrow defeat for them. Alfie Vogwill, Ellis Brealy, Freddie Baker, Freddie Moore, Jacob Hosegood, James Weetman, Leo Hill and Louis Chenore amongst their goal scorers.

Away from home the Under 15’s returned from Broadclyst with all three points.

Their coaches were really proud of a great team performance. Seb Roche with a stunning hat-trick got the goals, but Joseph Walter twice headed off the line with the score at 2-1.

It was another three points for the Under 13’s as they ran out 3-1 winners at West Hill. Casey Philp, Jayden Saunders andKeaton Spokes with his first goal for the club grabbing their goals.

The Under 10’s travelled to Heavitree for a friendly. Goals from Lennie Wilmott and Rupert Nicholls saw them edge out their hosts.

Sunday saw County Cup action for three Crediton sides.

Away at Elmore, the Under 18’s lost for the first time this season. Their local rivals progressed to the next round with a 4-2 win.

Joe Gilbert and Louis Garnsworthy got the consolation goals for the Crediton lads.

The Under 14’s capped a fine weekend with a second victory. They made the long journey to Tavistock Community Reds and were 5-1 victors.

Jimmy Orchard and Will Hopkins both hit doubles and Archie Delling also got on the scoresheet.

Also through to the next round are the Under 12 Youth girls who eased passed Lympstone Lionesses.

Amongst the goals for them were Eva Malik, Izzy Steward, Marnie Harris, Merryn Eatherley and Sabine Roth.

The Under 12 Development side took on Moors Youth and goals from Ben Turner and Jenson Langabeer saw them enjoy a 2-1 victory.

What a morning it was for the Under 8 girls as they travelled to Sidmouth for a mini tournament.

The players were absolutely buzzing as they had three wins, one draw and one narrow defeat. Their coaches are so proud of the girls progression over the the past few weeks.
