WORLD Book Day was a busy one for pupils at Lapford Primary School.

Peggy Chalcraft, senior teacher, explained that the children had a fun day.

She added: “Everyone made a huge effort with their costumes.

“We also had a visit from the Crediton Community Bookshop the day before, where the children could look through a range of books and then got to spend their vouchers. Thank you everyone for making it such a great day.”
