THERE are continuing traffic issues in the Tiverton area following a large lorry overturning and shedding its load of foul-smelling food waste, said to be fish guts, on the Bolham roundabout at about 4am this morning, Tuesday, October 22.
The incident is on the A361 Eastbound at A396 Bolham Road (Bolham roundabout).
The lorry is in the process of being recovered.
Queues still exist on the A361 and in Lea Road.
Emergency services attended and have been present for many hours.
The lorry driver is said to have sustained minor injuries but was taken to hospital.
It is believed no other vehicle was involved.
Diversions are in place.
A specialist cleaning team is at the scene.
