There are reports of a serious road traffic accident at about 6.45pm between Copplestone and Crediton on the A377 near the Knowle turning.

Two vehicles are believed to be involved.

Emergency services are attending.

Traffic is currently advised to find an alternative route.

There are long traffic queues forming in the area.
