POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision on the A3072 at Blakea Bridge near Beaworthy in West Devon.

Officers were called at around 4.05pm on Sunday, May 26, following reports of a single vehicle collision involving a blue Ford Fiesta.

Sadly, the 17-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His next of kin has been informed.

An investigation was carried out at the scene and officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst this took place.
