A MAN has been charged with raping a woman in Exeter city centre.

The incident is reported to have happened in Fore Street in the early hours of Sunday, September 15.

Abdullah Ahmed Saed, 23, of Royston Road, London, has been charged with one count of rape.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court today, September 17.
