CREDITON Police have issued an appeal for information after a cat was badly injured with a crossbow bolt.

Crediton Police said: “On March 31, a cat was badly injured in the Zeal Monachorum area near Crediton.

“A crossbow bolt had gone through the back leg and the cat required emergency surgery to remove the item.
