NATIONAL Grid was busy resolving power cuts this afternoon, Wednesday, December 27, that affected 860 homes in the Crediton area.
The main areas affected were EX16, EX17, EX18, EX36 and EX38.
It said the incident was reported at 12.19pm and said that engineers were working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.
At 3.30pm it said that only 16 properties in the EX17 area were still without power.
It apologised for any inconvenience caused android that it estimated that power would be restored to those remaining properties by 5.30pm this evening.
