THE 770th Chulmleigh Old Fair, which ran from Tuesday, July 23 to Sunday, July 28, had a packed programme with something for everyone.
It began in the traditional way with a church service followed by the opening and raising of the white glove by Peter Older.
Then followed the crowning of Gracie Mackinnon-Jones as Fair Queen by Sue Older.

Her attendants were Esme Cleverdon, Rosanna Chant with heralds Alex Chant, Isaac Cann and Harry Crocombe, with crown bearer Charlotte Mackinnon-Jones.
Town Crier Ben Farlam read the Proclamation and the money scramble and street games were good to see.

During the week, there was a craft fair, country fair, sheep show and fun and games, flower and produce show, dog show, horse show, sports, fancy dress, orienteering, more races, vintage vehicles, treasure hunt, history walk, parties, bingo and so much more.
Chulmleigh certainly pulls together for its Fair and the event is a credit to the town.
