A GRAND total of 46 volunteers took part in a Spring Clean and Litter Pick around Copplestone on Saturday, March 16.

Many bags of litter were collected, the bus shelter was scrubbed and also pressure washed.
Weeds were removed, overgrown areas cut back and lots of areas tidied.

All ages took part in the event, after which everyone was treated to free bacon butties (funded by Copplestone Parish Council).

“We held our first one last year as part of the King’s Coronation “Big Help Out” when more than 50 took part.
