Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A30, from 8pm April 29 to 6am May 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions South Tawton to Whiddon Down lane closures for structure inspection.

M5, from 8pm May 13 to 4am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 exit and entry slip lane closures for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
